about

The very first and real step forward in Dunkelblau sound if compared to previous albums' mood. Iconoclasty it is pretty much influenced by the industrial new wave artists of the 80's and 90's. We started recording it in our studio during the Spring of 2009, but the final version was not ready until January 2010. Perhaps one of the most difficult ones to mix and edit, but real violence.
Ps: Iconoclasty does not exist as an english word (iconoclast is the right one) and has to be seen rather as a tribute to Prince "Controversy" song and album.

lyrics

I wish my condemnation
They hope in resurrection
They hide their deepest secrets
I keep safe what is mine
I squander all my money
They save and then recycle
They live their lives in squalor
I do it in debauchery

So, where's your pride, your dignity? Where is your goal, people whom you talked to?
There's nothing left to tell but now they need to confess
sometimes they have to exercise their mouths made to destroy

Iconoclasty
Slavery
Double ego
